Our skilled nursing facility provides long-term care and dementia care for Oneida Nursing & Rehab Center residents who require nursing care and monitoring, and who can no longer function at home. Our team, comprising of nurses, specially trained nursing aides, therapists, a registered dietitian, and social worker, delivers clinical care, assistance with activities of daily living, and a daily activities program to help residents maintain their highest practicable level of function. We also have a registered nurse on staff 24 hours a day to care for residents with complex medical needs, such as enteral nutrition and wound care. Our center has a visiting Medical Director who oversees daily resident care and is available 24/7. In addition, ancillary services including optometry, podiatry, audiology, and dental can be arranged for on-site appointments. Our team can also provide transportation to scheduled off-site appointments.

Dementia Care

Our team and designated psychiatric staff are committed to providing specialized care to individuals diagnosed with dementia and other related cognitive disorders. Complementary therapies, individualized activities and non-pharmacological interventions are encouraged in our center to promote extended comfort.

Long-term care is supportive care provided to Medicaid recipients or individuals covered by private pay and some health insurance plans.

Oneida Nursing & Rehab Center is dually certified to provide both skilled nursing and long-term care services. Our residents can also be dual beneficiaries of Medicare and Medicaid, thus providing the option to move from the skilled, rehabilitative section of our center to our long-term, supportive section, if long-term care becomes necessary.
